WHAT IS BARRE-TIQUE?

IMG_4Barre-Tique is a core-infused fitness class that uses a ballet barre and couples the elements of dance, yoga, pilates, and stretch. It is not a dance class, but rather couples choreographed movements that are designed to burn cellulite and give a long lean dancers body with out bulk.

Barre-Tique methods target your inner thighs, waste line, and derriere with techniques that you cannot otherwise achieve with traditional local gym workouts. Barre-tique incorporates squat like movements in a grand plié` position with raised heels that will make you feel the burn in minutes.

Barre-tique uses isometric strength training method, using your own body weight as resistance, and stretching between segments. Occasionally, light weighted balls, flex bands, and stability balls are added to the routine for added resistance.

The atmosphere is upbeat and the playlists will keep you determined to get you through the next set. Barre-tique will quickly and safety reshapes your entire body giving you a dancers physique.

Barre inspired workout are known to give you extremely rapid results, that you can feel working even after the first class.

HOW OFTEN?

Regular exercise is an important part of effective weight loss and body shaping. It helps to control your weight by using excess calories that otherwise would be stored as fat as well as boosting your metabolism and lowering insulin levels. Physical activity also helps prevent many diseases and improve your overall health.

In order to truly benefit from Barre-tique classes it is recommend to take a minimum of 2-3 classes a week. It is a great compliment to your current work out regime, if you are not ready to completely commit.
